I often stand in awe before God's creation. Recognizing the perfection and complexity of his work, humbles and inspires. As an art teacher I want to help students appreciate the majesty of God's Creation and accept His call to participate in His Creative Spirit. The process of making art gives students the opportunity to solve a problem using their own aesthetic wit, imagination, and knowhow. When doing this they are tapping into God's creative grace. Assisting a student explore their artistic potential, develop confidence in their ability, and recognize and celebrate their achievement I see the presence of God's Creative Spirit active in the world.

Welcome to Art
St. Matthias was not elected as the twelfth apostle because he was worthy but because he became worthy. Let us strive to follow his example by gladly joining in and doing our best.
